Completing a program

Today, I finally finished Kumon's Math Program. I only got half the perfect score, but it's alright. I was able reach the final part of my Kumon journey. I used to take their reading program, but I stopped because it became hard for me to balance my studies. Now that I have reached the end of that line, I can concentrate on another one: finish my final year in high school with flying colors.

MOMO QIU's 15th Birthday!

I know that 15 isn't much of a special number, but a birthday is still an occasion!
Dear nugget Tisha, I hope you're doing well with your studies. I also hope you like the card I made with Mikee. Continue blogging because the contents are interesting to read. Hehe. Plus, we are each other's valentines. ❤️ (I know there is no logic connection to what I just said, but still... It's love.)

Love & XOXO, Nicole

Have a HAPPY 15TH BIRTHDAY!
P.S. I also hope you're wearing the charm bracelet I gave you because I also have one for Mikee and me. :)

Getting sick

When you get sick, we'd be happy because we're able to get away from our routinal work, right?
The cons?
  • Do lots of follow-up work; &
  • Run lots of errands.
Why am I telling you this?
I got sick by the end of last week and am now enjoying/suffering two weeks of vacation.
Why?
I got measles. A very contagious sickness that I was trying to avoid.

The two week vacation isn't great at all because I'm confined in my own room and unable to get out of the house. Family and friends who want to visit me can't come because they might get sick too.

To sum it up, getting sick isn't fun at all (unless you're able to get all the leisure you want while you are).

The reality of annoying things

We all have our pet peeves, right? We have things that really irritate us so much even if it's just so little.

If you've been living a life where you stress out on whatever annoys you, you should try looking at a different perspective. Why should we think that the we are instinctively annoyed at something when we can actually choose what to stress on?

Think about it. Is it really worth worrying on? Does it really matter? It's not like it's gonna be your whole life.

Sometimes, we choose to look at the wrong perspective. That's why we never think of anything good about it. Annoyance is all in the mind, so don't fuss too much about it. :)

Taking away the sembreak blues

We all love a break. Most especially a break in midyear because we're given time to relax and refresh ourselves. What if we aren't sure of what to do? We don't want another unproductive break wherein all we do is eat and sleep.

Well, what I can suggest is to exercise! You may negotiate that it's not something you wanna do, but please trust me on this. It can make you feel totally refreshed even if it feels bad at first. You might say that you're a couch potato, but believe me when I say that even couch potatoes have untouched athletic potentials. What I said may seem so far from what I said, but it's true that the human body has a lot of surprises. Oh and exercise isn't all about going to the gym. You can simply dance, jog or even play a simple hula hoop game. You can play games from your childhood like hopscotch. It's also okay to play video games so intensely that you move to every little action.

Now, we're off to another possible activity. Go to places you've never been before. If you're someone who may be outgoing, then this is the least you can do.

Right now, I'm kinda out of suggestions because I'm just looking forward to go to the cemetery and pray for the people who passed away. :)

I hope you enjoy the rest of sembreak!
